Jesus Saves !!
This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners. God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. He came to take away the sins of the whole world. The wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life- in Christ Jesus.
We have all sinned and come short of the glory of God. There is none righteous. No not one. There is none that does good and sins not. We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned onto our own way. Because of this, the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all our ungodliness and unrighteousness.
If the Lord kept a record of our sins, who could ever survive? For our sins are piled up before God and testify against us. Yes, we know what sinners we are. For in sin are we conceived, and we drink iniquity like we drink water. There is no one who understands, no one who seeks God. We are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags. We all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.
But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, gave us his Son Jesus......................
Verse for the day
For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. — Romans 8:38-39
