In the space of three weeks, we were reminded of the fraility of the human life. How susceptible is the human race? How truly helpless are we in the face of a marauding nature (controlled by the creator himself)? For all the technological innovation, Man is just as a small speck of dust in front of his creator!

More people travel by plane than ever before. Formerly this mode of travel was solely the realm of the wealthy, but in the present society it appears that nearly everyone has been on a plane. The downturn in home-based holidays is largely due to the availability and economy of flights to lands where sunshine is almost guaranteed.

Moses in Psalm 90 talks in length about the brevity of Life. He talks about sorrow, death and especially about the wrath of God towards Man. He says how fragile life is.
And in the midst of saying so much,he reveals a shocking fact as the reason in verse 8:
‘You have set our iniquities before, Our secret sins in the light of Your countenance.’
