In Luke chapter 8:25 we see Jesus asking His disciples where is your faith? The disciples were afraid that they would perish. They forgot that Jesus was with them in the boat. They forgot Jesus had told them as they entered the board let us cross over.
Isn’t it so similar in our situations when we forget who we are and who we have with us in the journey of life? When sudden untoward events happen to us, we get desperate and we start getting worried. Are we fair-weather believers who trust in God only when everything happens is planned? Let us not forget the one who said, ‘I will never leave you nor forsake you’. And let us realize that He who has begun a good work in us will bring in to completion. In our daily lives let us not forget the presence of the Lord in our lives. Let us remind ourselves of the promises of God. Our faith is on display every moment of our earthly lives and let it be a faith which pleases our Lord.
